It works by stopping the growth of fungi which is solely responsible for the fungal infection. It also shows many side effects on people, who are allergic to it such as a headache, stomach upset, dizziness etc. It used for dermatological fungal infection

• Antifungal activity higher than fluconazole
• Active against Aspergillus, which fluconazole is not
• Active in aspergillosis. candidiasis, and cryptococcosis, where other antifungal drugs are inappropriate or ineffective
